Throughout period of World War II, the American air force relied on a range of aircraft to move troops and supplies over enormous distances. Amongst essential of these was the C-54 Skymaster, a reliable machine that earned the nickname "Flying Fortress Express." Built by Lockheed, the C-54 boasted a
